Gummy Vites ( Multi-Vitamins & Mineral Formula ) |

Vitamin A plays an essential role in eye health and vision by producing retinol. It is particularly important in night vision and helps to treat different eye diseases. It can be used to prevent infection in our respiratory tracts and prime correct functions of our immune system. It also contributes to strong bone and healthy skin, hair, gum and teeth.

Vitamin B6 helps the body manufacture certain chemicals that send messages between nerve cells. Vitamin B6 also plays a key role in brain function as well as the production of haemoglobin and in the ability of oxygen to bind with the haemoglobin molecule. Vitamin B12 is necessary for normal growth and development, especially in babies, young children, and teenagers. It aids in the production of oxygen-carrying red blood cells, thus prevents anaemia. It is also required for the proper functioning of the nervous system.

Vitamin C is essential for the formation of collagen, an important structural protein that strengthens bones and blood vessels and anchors teeth into the gums, in addition to being necessary for body growth, tissue repair, and wound healing. It also acts as an antioxidant, protects against infection by enabling white blood cells to break down bacteria, is involved in the production of red blood cells and their oxygen-carrying pigment haemoglobin, and helps the body absorb iron from the intestine. It also helps to boost immunity and prevent scorbutus and bone fracture.

Vitamin has an essential role in the absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus, and therefore in the formation and health of bones, teeth, and cartilage. Vitamin D facilitates the Vitamin A uptake in our body, and also helps to prevent osteoporosis and treat conjunctivitis.

This fat-soluble vitamin is considered to be one of nature's most effective antioxidants, which protect the body against free radicals. It improves blood circulation, repairs body tissues and maintain the intactness of our cell membrane. Vitamin E also protects vitamin A from becoming chemically changed, helps make red blood cells, and prevents blood from over-clotting. It also helps to lower the incidence of developing heart diseases.

Folate plays a vital role in making DNA (the substance that makes up our genes) and RNA (a substance needed to make proteins), in normal growth and development, and in the production of new cells. A good supply of folic acid prior to and in early pregnancy helps in baby’s brain and spinal cord development. It works with vitamin B12 to form haemoglobin for red blood cells, and helps convert the amino acid homocysteine to methionine.
